INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The Investiture Ceremony of Xavier CBSE School, Manvi was held with great dignity and enthusiasm on 3rd July 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in Arrupe Hall. The ceremony marked the formal installation of the newly elected School Cabinet Leaders for the academic year 2026–27.

The programme commenced with an introduction by the MC. The dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Mr. Chandrashekhar V., Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Tax, Raichur District, the President, Rev. Fr. Cyprian Tellis SJ, Superior of Loyola Institutions, Manvi, and the Principal, Rev. Fr. Wilson Bennis SJ, were ceremoniously escorted into the hall by the school band and warmly welcomed by the school community.

The gathering then joined in singing the School Anthem and participated in a prayer service led by the students. The Vice Principal delivered the welcome speech, extending a cordial welcome to the dignitaries, staff, parents, and students. The ceremony was formally inaugurated with the opening of the book by the dignitaries, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter of leadership and responsibility for the student council. This was followed by an introductory address by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Wilson Bennis SJ. The Investiture Ceremony was conducted by Mr. Girish. The newly elected leaders marched gracefully to the stage, received the School Flag, and were presented with sashes and badges. The leaders then took the oath, pledging to discharge their duties with sincerity, commitment, and dedication.

The outgoing leader, Zam Zam, shared reflections on the responsibilities and experiences of leadership, while the newly elected leader, Prakash, assured the gathering of his dedication to serving the school with honesty and enthusiasm. The Chief Guest was introduced by Mrs. Shilpa and later delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the young leaders to be disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented citizens. The Chief Guest was felicitated as a token of appreciation for his presence and guidance. The President, Rev. Fr. Cyprian Tellis SJ, then addressed the gathering and motivated the students to become exemplary leaders guided by values, integrity, and a spirit of service.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Brunda of Class X, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, President, Principal, staff, students, and all those who contributed to the success of the event.
