VALEDICTORY CEREMONY FOR CLASS X STUDENTS

<p>The Valedictory Programme of Class X was solemnly and gracefully celebrated on 14th February 2026 at Xavier School, Manvi. The programme commenced at 10:00 a.m. with a spirit of gratitude, nostalgia, and hope as the outgoing batch prepared to step into a new phase of life.</p> <p>The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Raziya Sulthana Umayima, DEO at the Minority Welfare Department, Manvi. In her inspiring address, she emphasized the importance of making the best use of the opportunities available during student life. She encouraged the students to remain focused, disciplined, and confident as they move forward in their academic journey.</p> <p>The programme began with an introductory address by the Principal, Fr. Wilson Bennis, who warmly welcomed the gathering. In his message, he urged the students to become &ldquo;men and women for others&rdquo; and to carry forward the values and morals of Xavier School wherever they go. His words reflected the true spirit of Xavier &mdash; commitment, service, and excellence.</p> <p>The Honourable Guest, Fr. Praveen Kumar sj, Principal of Loyola PU College, addressed the students with insightful thoughts. He reminded them that self-awareness is the key to overcoming fear, especially during examinations. &ldquo;Knowing oneself,&rdquo; he said, &ldquo;is the best way to become fearless and confident.&rdquo;</p> <p>The introduction of the Chief Guest was beautifully presented by the Vice Principal, Mr. Basavaraj, highlighting her achievements and contributions.</p> <p>The presence of the coordinators, Sr. Philomina and Mrs. Sunitha Bai, added grace to the occasion as they stood in support of the outgoing students.</p> <p>On behalf of the juniors, Ms. Zam Zam of Class IX delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude, admiration, and best wishes to their seniors. Her words reflected the bond shared between the batches.</p> <p>The emotional highlight of the programme was the speech by Ms. Nivedha and Mr. Shashank Verma of Class X. Representing their classmates, they shared cherished memories of their school life, expressed sincere gratitude to the teachers and management, and spoke about stepping forward with courage and confidence into a new chapter of life.</p> <p>A deeply meaningful Candle Oath Ceremony was conducted as a symbolic gesture of passing on the light of knowledge, values, and responsibility. The ceremony beautifully represented the legacy and the values of Xavier School being carried forward by future generations.</p> <p>The programme concluded on a note of pride and hope, leaving behind lasting memories captured in photographs that reflect the joy, gratitude, and emotional moments of the day.</p> <p>The Valedictory Programme was not merely a farewell, but a celebration of growth, achievements, and the enduring Xavier spirit that will continue to guide the students in all their future endeavors.</p>
